The quizzes will cover material in the course (inclusive of lectures, homework, and the text) through the preceding Wednesday. Your two lowest quizzes will be dropped. The dropped quizzes are primarily to be used to handle unexpected and unavoidable absences, such as illness or family emergency.
Absent highly unusual circumstances, make-up quizzes are only offered for documented university sanctioned absences. Documentation must be provided at least one week before the university sanctioned absence. In most cases, the make-up quiz will take place before the regularly scheduled quiz.
